Canvas Technical Support

Overview

The Canvas Technical Support Form serves as the central intake point for all Canvas-related issues. Whether you’re a student unable to access your course, an instructor needing to merge sections, or a staff member requesting additional course space, this form ensures that your request receives the appropriate support.

After you submit the form, eLearning Services will review and respond within one business day (Monday–Friday). Submitting duplicate requests for the same issue will not speed up service.

For immediate assistance with Canvas features such as assignment submission, grading, Dashboard management, the Canvas Inbox, course navigation/building, and more, please contact Canvas 24/7 Support instead of completing this form:

Please use this request to submit a ticket for any of the following:

  • Canvas Logins – trouble signing into Canvas or accessing your Canvas dashboard
  • Course Access – missing courses or requests to access a course as student, TA, instructor, designer, or observer
  • Course Merges (for Faculty/Staff) – combining multiple course sections into one main course shell
  • Canvas Tools (LTIs) – help with integrated tools such as Zoom, Panopto, Simple Syllabus, Respondus, Cengage, or Pearson
  • Grade Challenges / Incompletes – questions regarding incomplete grades or course completion access
  • Shell & Master Creation (for Faculty/Staff) – requests to create a new master or development shell
  • Roles & Rights – requests to adjust user roles or permissions in a course
  • Canvas How-Tos & Training – general guidance or training credit requests
  • Course & File Quotas – requests for additional storage space

How do I submit my request?
