Microsoft Outlook: How To Use the Direct Replies To Feature

The Direct Replies To feature allows you to create email messages and direct replies to someone else or reply to messages and request replies be sent to someone other than yourself.

This knowledge article demonstrates how to use the Direct Replies To feature in Microsoft Outlook 2016.


Step 1

Within a new email message, click Options tab then click Direct Replies To. Note: If you have not set the Open replies and forwards in a new window as your default, you will need to click Pop Out in order to view Options tab.

Step 2

Deselect Have replies sent to checkbox then click Select Names….

Step 3

In the Search field, start typing the name, locate and select the name then click Reply To and click OK.

Step 4

Click Close.
