In order to improve security and ensure that users have proper access to Prince George’s Community College network, we are implementing Multi-factor authentication (MFA). Multi- factor authentication is an authentication method in which a computer user’s identity is confirmed by successfully presenting two or more pieces of evidence (your password and a passcode) before access is granted.

  1. Go to my.pgcc.edu (myPGCC Portal)
  2. Enter your PGCC Username & Password then click Login

            Step 2 - Image

  1. In the Multi-Factor Login Required screen, enter the OTP (One-Time Passcode) sent to your registered phone number in the 2nd Factor / One Time Passcode field, click Login. Once authenticated, you will be able to access myPGCC Portal.

(NOTE: To change the selected authentication method, click “Choose a different authentication method” link, wait at least 60 seconds for the current OTP to expire, then follow  the prompts on the screen to select a different method).

           Step 3 - Image

NOTE:  Once you logged out, MFA will prompt you to enter a new code whenever you log back into myPGCC Portal. Select the check box next to “Remember this browser?” and then click Login to bypass MFA for a particular browser on a device on subsequent logins for the next 48 hrs.
