Issue: Sending large amounts of email that surpass the bulk mail limitations of 500 recipient per email or 10,000 emails per day.
Setting up the relay server in Outlook 2019 on Windows 10 causes an error with user authentication, even when using the method to first set up the POP component by connecting to outlook.office365.com, with the intent of editing it later.
Solution: Setup SMTP relay account in Outlook client to send bulk email from our internal relay server
Step 1.
Get IP address for the workstation the sender will be utilizing and add it to the relay.pgcc.edu SMTP access list on the relay.pgcc.edu server. Then provide that info to Network Services to grant access to the service.
