Paste Preview allows to see a preview of what your pasted content will look like. You can also set or manage your Paste Preview defaults.
This knowledge article demonstrates how to use the Paste Preview feature in Microsoft Word 2016.
Step 1
After pasting copied text, click the Paste Options menu.
Hover over each option to preview how the pasted content will appear.
Step 2
To set the default paste options, click Set Default Paste…
