Microsoft 365 Overview

Description

Microsoft 365 is a subscription service that provides access to a suite of productivity apps and cloud services. It includes apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneDrive, along with features like real-time collaboration and cloud storage.  All PGCC Faculty, Staff and Students have access to Microsoft 365 for free!

When to Use: Microsoft 365 offers numerous benefits including enhanced collaboration, robust security features, increased productivity, and cost-effectiveness through its cloud-based subscription model. It provides access to the latest versions of familiar applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with features like secure cloud storage, real-time co-authoring, and AI-powered tools to improve efficiency.

To enroll in any of the instructor-led courses, go to Cornerstone and select "Browse for Training" under the Learning tab, or visit the TTMD Technology Training page to view upcoming session dates.

How to Access OneDrive?

  1. Navigate to https://www.pgcc.edu/     
  2. Click "myPGCC" then select "Faculty and Staff"  
  3. Click on the "App Launcher" (Waffle Icon) located at the top left-hand corner of the site to access all Microsoft Apps
