How to Install Applications from Software Center

Software Center is part of Microsoft’s System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), which allows Data, Science, Innovation, and Effectiveness (DSIE) to deploy, manage, support and update applications and services across Prince George's Community College systems.

Software Center will allow you to install a variety of licensed software and software updates on your computer without requiring Administrative permissions.

Step 1.        Click on the Start icon or press the Windows Key on your keyboard

Step 2.       Navigate to and click on the Microsoft EndPoint Manager folder,

Step 3.        Click on the Software Center icon.

Step 4.        A list of available software will be displayed under the Applications option.

Step 5.        Click the Application to be installed. In this example, Firefox ESR 102.7.0 will be installed.

Step 6.        Click Install to commence the installation process.

Step 7.        The software should install momentarily. However, if installation fails,

                    please submit a Technology Service Desk request ticket through ask.pgcc.edu.
