Owl Link: Overview of the Financial Aid Module (Credit)

Use the Financial Aid module to assist in managing your Financial Aid package from submission to completion. You can access financial aid data, forms, etc.

This knowledge article provides you with an overview of the Financial Aid module.


Financial Aid Home

This page displays important information and lists of all the tasks that you need to complete to apply for financial aid for a specific Financial Aid year. 

  1. The Select an Award Year drop-down list.
  2. A message regarding your current SAP status.
  3. Information about the status of your Financial Aid package. 
  4. A pie chart showing the average financial aid amounts, per type, received at your school for students, depending on your status for a given award year.
  5. Your Student Finance Account Summary information along with a link to your Account Summary page.
  6. The Financial Aid Checklist which provides the status of the tasks which need to be completed.
  7. A Resources section with links to forms and helpful information.

Award Year

To display a previous award year, click the Select an Award Year drop-down list and choose from the list.

Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)

Click the link to view your recent Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Satisfactory Academic Progress displays the data used to calculate the SAP status. The green bar demonstrates an eligible status. A yellow bar is a warning. A red bar is an ineligible status. This bar will remain at the top of each Financial Aid page.

Your Financial Aid Package is Now Ready or You Have Missing Documents

This section will either have a link to access your Financial Aid Package or to complete required documents.

Average Aid Package

This section displays the average financial aid amounts, per type, received at the college.

Student Finance Account Summary

This section displays a summary of your account with a link to your Account Summary page.

Checklist

Checklist items will display based upon the required information needed from you. Items displayed with a green check have been completed.  Items outstanding are indicated  as “Action Needed” and will have a link to the location to complete the task.

Resources

This section contains resources such as links to forms and helpful information.
