Employees are able to download and install Microsoft Office 365 that includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and several other applications. The Microsoft software can be installed on up to five (5) personal PC or Mac devices and on other mobile devices including tablets and iPads. Note: Once an employee has left the College, their Microsoft Office 365 subscription will end.
This knowledge article contains instructions for downloading and installing Office 365.
To Download Office 365
Step 1
Navigate to https://www.office.com
Step 2
Click Sign In
Step 3
Sign in with your PGCC e-mail account if prompted.
Step 4
The site will redirect you to the myPGCC portal to enter your PGCC username and password.
Step 5
Go through the MFA authentication process then click Login
Step 6
Click the drop down arrow for install and more then click Install Microsoft 365 Apps
Step 7
Click Install Office
Step 8
If prompted to save the OfficeSetup.exe file, save it on your computer.
To Install Office 365
Step 1
Click the download icon on your browser, then double click the OfficeSetup.exe file that was downloaded. (Or navigate to the saved location of the OfficeSetup.exe file and run it)
Step 2
Click Run for the Open File - Security Warning.
Step 3
Follow the installation prompts to install Office 365. The installation process may take 20 to 40+ minutes.
