How to connect to Eduroam (Education Roaming) Wireless

HOW TO CONNECT TO EDUROAM (Education Roaming) WIRELESS SETUP

Eduroam stands for EDUCATION ROAMING which is an international roaming service for users in research, higher education, and further education. It allows researchers, teachers, students and staff from participating institutions to securely access the internet from any Eduroam enabled network. It also provides users easy and secure network access when visiting an institution other than their own.  Eduroam works on different platforms like Windows, Mac, Apple and Android.

STEP 1:

Click on the Wi-Fi signal in the lower right hand corner of your PC.

You will see all the Wi-Fi networks available.

STEP 2:

Select Eduroam from the list and make sure connect automatically is checked.

Then click on Connect.     

STEP 3:  

Login with your PGCC email address and password.

Click Join if on an Apple or Android phone or click connect on a Windows or Mac computer.

                        

STEP 4:     

Your computer may ask you to confirm if you want to connect to this network or trust this computer in order to proceed.

Click Connect or Trust.

  

STEP 5:

You should see Eduroam listed as connected and secured.  

STEP 6:

Open your browser to ensure you are connected.
