Lucidchart Overview

Description

Lucid for Education is a suite of visual applications available in Canvas to help students understand their own thinking and actively participate in learning process. It has two applications, Lucidspark and Lucidchart.

Lucidchart is an intelligent web-based diagramming application used to visualize complex processes, systems, and organizational structures. It acts as a modern, cloud-based alternative to legacy software like Microsoft Visio, allowing teams to collaborate in real-time.

When to use:

  • Flowcharts & Process Maps to document standard workflows, step-by-step business processes, and decision paths.
  • Organizational Charts to automatically generate or manually build corporate hierarchies and team structures.
  • Mind Mapping to brainstorm central ideas and visually map parent and child branches.
