If a user no longer needs rights to a page, follow these steps to remove permissions.
Step 1
Using the latest version of Internet Explorer, navigate to the site, select the gear icon in the upper right of the page, then select Site Settings.

Step 2
Select Site permissions from within the Users and Permissions category on the page.

Step 3
Select the user's name then select Remove User Permissions.

Step 4
Verify that the user has been removed from the site and notify the user if necessary.
