Are you a new employee or a current employee requesting access to Colleague for the first time? If yes, skip these instructions and follow the instructions outlined in the Knowledge article: Colleague Access Training Requirements for New Employees
Employees who already have access to Colleague but would like to access Ellucian’s on-demand training for professional development follow the steps below:
Step 1 – Create an Ellucian Customer Center Account
What if you already have an Ellucian Customer Center Account? Confirm that you can login, then go to Step 2 of this article, skipping Step 1 instructions.
The Ellucian Customer Center Account gives you access to the Ellucian Academy. You access the recommended or required training courses through Ellucian Academy.
Go to: https://www.ellucian.com/customer-center. Choose Create an Account.
On the Account Registration page:
- Enter your @pgcc.edu email address. Then, confirm the email address again on the next line.
- Click I'm not a robot.
- Click Submit
After you submit your request, you will receive an email similar to the one below directly from Ellucian with your username and a blue Activate button. Press the Activate button to complete your account creation.
NOTE: The account creation process may take several days to complete. You will need to wait until your account has been activated before proceeding to Step 2.
Once the Customer Center Account has been created and you have confirmed you can login, follow Step 2 to request an Ellucian on-demand training license.
Access Colleague Training
After a training license has been assigned, you can access the Ellucian Customer Center to launch the desired training courses. Once logged in, select Resources, and then select Training.
You can find courses in several ways (see image below):
- Search for courses using the Search box at the top.
- Select Align with Role-Based Training to find training based on your role.
- Select a Colleague Application for training related to that application.
