Easy to use Microsoft Snip & Sketch
Here are some of the features that can be accomplished with the Snip & Sketch tool:
Overview: This is an application that works similar to the Snipping Tool, which allows you to screen capture visual information for transferring into other documents and presentations. It also allows you to add annotations (via pen, pencil, highlighter), directing your audience to specific areas in your document to highlight information or for clarification. Compared to the Snipping Tool, Snip & Sketch includes additional features such as eraser and ruler options, and the ability to share on other devices through Bluetooth or WiFi. Snip & Sketch is intended to officially replace the Snipping Tool in future Microsoft Windows updates.
To use Snip & Sketch: Press the Windows logo/waffle key + Shift + S or enter "Snip & Sketch" into the Windows search bar. Choose to snip in Rectangular, Freeform, Window, or Fullscreen and it will save the screenshot to the clipboard (see Figure A). You can also choose to save the screenshot or share it by clicking on the small screen at the bottom right corner and follow the instructions based on your selection (see Figure B).
Here’s a great tip: The PrtScn (Print Screen) button can be configured for single button press to capture images on the screen. This is done by going to the Settings Menu and select Snip & Sketch as the default application.
Once the screenshot is saved to the clipboard, the content can then be copied into any document by using the Paste option or right-clicking in the document and select Paste. Simple, yet effective!
