This knowledge article provides guidance on how to change view modes in NetSupport School. This feature is good for observing students while working and demonstrating how to perform certain functions on a student's desktop without leaving your station.
Step 1
Double-click on a monitor view to open the student desktop for viewing. In viewing mode you can select to Share the student desktop, which means the student and you can both work on the desktop but take turns doing so.
Step 2
Select Watch to simply have a closer view of what the student is doing.
Step 3
Select Control to take control of the student desktop, so you can demonstrate, without the student being able to interact.
You also have the option to select Chat to open and conversation with only that students, or use Message to communicate a command to that student. Their only option is to click the OK button to a message command. To end viewing click the Red X close window button at the upper right of the screen.
