How to Reduce the Size of Your PDF

This Knowledge Article will show you how to reduce the size of your PDF document so it does not take as much storage space.  This will not decrease the quality of the document. 


Step 1

Open your document in Adobe Acrobat Pro (the full program, not Adobe Reader)

Step 2

Select File, Save As Other, then select Reduced Size PDF

Step 3

Keep the default of Retain Existing, click on OK.

Step 4

Enter file name (or keep existing file name), press SaveRemember to check where your document is being saved.

The document will be saved using a lower amount of storage space.
