How to Create a New Student Account (Continuing Education)

This knowledge article demonstrates how to Create an Account as a New Continuing Education Student.


Step 1

On the PGCC home webpage (www.pgcc.edu) click on Programs & Courses then click Continuing Education.

Step 2

Scroll down and click Enroll.

Select Enroll to create an account

Step 3

Fill out the Create Account form (be sure to fill in the required fields identified by a red asterisk *).

  • For Student Type, click on the arrow in the box and choose Workforce Development and Continuing Education (WDCE): taking non-credit personal interest courses
  • For ‘When do you anticipate starting at PGCC’, click on the arrow and choose the semester for which you want to take courses.
  • Choose a password that you will remember (write it down for future reference) and click Create Account(shown in the image below).

Step 4

Select the semester you want to begin and click Submit

Step 5

The next page is requiring that you fill out Tell us about yourself information especially those marked with the red asterisk(*).

  • When clicking on the drop-down for State, Maryland appears at the top of the selections.
  • You must also select your county.
  • You must then tell us how long you’ve lived in the State of Maryland and how long you’ve lived in Prince George’s County, if you are a resident of Prince George’s County.

Step 6

Save & Continue button.

Step 7

The next page is requiring that you fill out Demographic information especially those marked with the red asterisk(*).
Once you complete this section click the Save & Continue button.

Step 8

The next page is requiring that you fill out Enrollment Information especially those marked with the red asterisk(*).
You must choose your intended program of study.  There is only one choice there-please select it.

Once you complete this section click the Save & Continue button.

Step 9

The next page is requiring that you fill out Education History information especially those marked with the red asterisk(*).
Once you complete this section click the Save & Continue button.

The last page is requiring that you fill out the Signature section especially those marked with the red asterisk(*).
Once you complete this section click the Save & Continue button.
