You can change your home address and add your personal email address, and phone number in Self Service. Note: You cannot change your college email address.
This knowledge article demonstrates how to change your home address, add a personal email address, and add a personal phone number in Self Service.
Step 1
After logging into Owl Link and from any page In Self Service, click your user name then select User Profile.
To Confirm or Add a New Address
Step 1
The User Profile page is displayed. If your current address is accurate then click Confirm.
Step 2
To change your address, click Add New Address. Note: Your residency status for tuition purposes will be evaluated when your address is changed.
Step 3
Select the Outside US/Canada check box if necessary. Complete the required fields (fields with an asterisk). Note: The only option for Type is Web-Home/Permanent/Legal which is a temporary type. Once your address has been reviewed by the Office of Records and Registration, the Type will be changed to Home/Permanent/Legal. Click Add Address to complete the change.
The new address is added and displayed. You can edit the address by clicking on Edit (pencil) icon.
To Confirm, Edit, or Add a New Personal Email Address
Step 1
From the User Profile page in Self Service, choose one of the following:
- To confirm your current personal email address as accurate, click Confirm.
- To add your personal email address, click Add New Email.
Step 2
After clicking Add New Email, enter your email address then click Add Email.
Step 3
The new email address is added and displayed. You have the following options:
- To edit the email address, click the Edit (pencil) icon; OR
- To remove the email address, click the Remove (X) icon.
Note: You cannot change your college email address.
Step 4
Click the Edit (pencil) icon, make any necessary changes then click Update Email.
OR
Click the Remove (X) icon then click Accept.
After each change, a notification message is displayed stating that the user profile was successfully updated.
To Add a New or Edit a Phone Number
Step 1
From the User Profile page in Self Service, choose one of the following:
- To confirm your current phone number as accurate, click Confirm.
- To add your phone number, click Add New Phone.
From the User Profile page in Self Service, click Add New Phone.
Step 2
After clicking Add New Phone, enter your phone number including the area code then click Add Phone.
Step 3
The new phone number is added and displayed. You have the following options:
- To edit the phone number, click the Edit (pencil) icon; OR
- To remove the phone number, click the Remove (X) icon.
Step 4
Click the Edit (pencil) icon, make any necessary changes then click Update Phone.
OR
Click the Remove (X) icon then click Accept.
After each change, a notification message is displayed stating that the user profile was successfully updated.
