In Microsoft Outlook, customizing categories by adding unique coloring and naming allows you to easily identify and group associated items. This knowledge article demonstrates how to categorize items and rename categories.
Step 1
Click the Categorize button on the Home ribbon.

Step 2
Click the All Categories… option.

Step 3
Select a color category then click Rename.

Step 4
Type a new category name then press Enter.

Step 5
Select the check box to apply a category then click OK.
