Microsoft PowerPoint: How to Encrypt a Presentation

This knowledge article demonstrates how to encrypt a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.

Step 1

Access the protection settings in Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 by opening the file and selecting the File tab.

Step 2

Select Info from the File menu.

Step 3

Select the small arrow within the Protect Presentation icon, then select the option to Encrypt with Password.
