Make Text Searchable

This article will tell you to create a readable and searchable PDF file from document with scanned text.

1. Open Adobe Acrobat full version (not Reader) on your computer.
2. Click Open.
3. Find and select the document you want to make searchable, then click Open.
4. Choose Tools and Scan & OCR and then Open.   
5. Choose Recognize Text and In This File.
6. Select OK. Document will perform page recognition which includes recognizing text in document. Select Recognize Text and In This File.
7. Save your changes to the file.
