Logitech C920e Web Camera Setup

The Logitech C920e "Logi" web camera provides users with an alternative device to use along with their docking-station monitors to collaborate on the bigger screen rather than the laptop device.  Here are a few tips when using the Webcam:

WEBCAM CARE and USAGE

When placing the camera on top of the monitor, ensure that the front clip is flush against the front side, while the rubber tip on the back clip securely fits against the back of the monitor to stabilize the camera.  The USB-A cord should be attached to the back of the docking station in a way that prevents dislodging the device.

With the camera securely placed on the monitor, the device can be moved side to side or be swiveled up and down.

Another option would be to place the camera on any sturdy platform for the desired height and preferential accommodation.

USING MICROSOFT TEAMS

If desired when starting or joining a meeting, turn on the camera and click on settings (gear icon), then choose "Logi Webcam C920e" under Video Settings.

To blur or change the background, click on "Background filters" to set the desired view.

USING ZOOM

When starting or joining a meeting, click "Start Video" and click on the uptick icon to select "Logi Webcam C920e."

Clicking on either "Virtual Background" or "Video Filters" allows you to choose a virtual background/video filter and personalize your meeting experience.
