How to Login to Blackboard Mobile Apps with the New SSO Login Procedure

Effective February 12, 2022, Enterprise Technology has updated the new MyPGCC Single Sign-on (SSO) portal, which is now your central location to access technology applications.  This update has changed the way you will login to the Blackboard (Bb) Instructor and Student mobile apps.  This Knowledge Article will go over the new steps to login to the Bb Mobile Apps. The update to the app was completed on February 15th.  


If you had the Bb mobile app on your device before February 15th, 2022, you will need to delete the app and add it back onto your device.  

Step 1

To delete the current Bb app, press down on the app until the below box pops up.  Select Remove App:

Select Delete App

Select Delete App


After deleting the app from your mobile device, add the Bb Student or Instructor app back onto your device. Once it is added, follow these steps to login:

Step 1

Start typing in Prince Georges Community College, select it when it shows up. 

Select PGCC

Step 2

Scroll down and select Continue with Web Login.

Step 3

Select Sign in with third-party account. Entering your username and password in the below boxes will not authenticate correctly and you will receive and invalid username or password error.

Select myPGCC Login

Select MyPGCC Login

Step 5

Enter your Owl Link username and password and select Login

The Blackboard app will load after about 15 to 20 seconds. The mobile app will cache your login credentials like it always has so you do not need to reenter your credentials each time.
